I had a drive cable connector get work due to vibration and that led to file corruption where only the first part of the file(s) would load. I would see the first half of a page's HTML when viewing source. As it worsened, it would eventually generate the file not found error. Years of smooth operation followed by sudden quirkiness smells like a drive problem even from way over here.
