texte = Grant -Thanks for Beta13 of WebCatalog 2.0. I was really looking forward to usingit. However, after three days working with the PlugIn, I'm prettydesperate. The tutorial starts so nicely - but when will it be finished? The manual (Version 1.6) does not help much. the example templates (generalstore) are pretty dysfunctional. So maybe you could help me out of mydesperation by answering a couple of questions:1) The visitor enters the quantity of item a he wishes to purchase on theshopping cart template - let's say 4. He then goes to the trial invoice. Upto here WebCat works nicely - quantity is correct, total price is correct. However, if the visitor chooses to go back to his shopping cart templatebecause he realized he wants to purchase 5 instead of 4 times item a, theshopping cart once again shows the default quantity=1 - i.e. the visitorslast entry is deleted. So what if the visitor wants to buy item a, b, c, d,e, f, g, h, and a different quantity of each? - Once he's been to his trialinvoice and realizes he wants to change any one entry for quantity, he'llhave to redo all his entries. Not very convenient, eh? Is there any way toget around this, i.e. save the visitor's entry for quantity?Since I'm not happy with the default quantity=1, I left out thevalue=1-entry. So the visitor can put in his desired value of quantity inan empty box. If he forgets to do so, however, the trial invoice will showsome very strange, five-digit value for quantity. Why's that?2) Problem one was minor compared to this one: In my store, I sell concerttickets. I have two categories of tickets. Those where I already know theprice, and those the price of which is still open. Both are stored in thesame database, and appear on the same search- and searchresult-templates.The tickets with prices can be bought online, the other tickets can bereserved. Is there a possibility of splitting up a shopping cart - so ifa visitor selects tickets of both categories in one visit, he sees twotables in his shopping cart, one for the tickets he can buy online, and onefor the tickets he can make reservations for? The same goes for the trialinvoice: I want the visitor to be able to make his purchases and hisreservations using the same template, without getting confused by differentticket categories in the same table (with, incidentally, an annoyingdefault price of $00.00 listed for tickets the price of which is stillopen).I've tried and tried, and have not succeeded. Could you help me solve myproblem? I'd really appreciate that. Thanks!Annette
