Both test emails sent using WebDNA's [sendmail] indicated a time one hour ahead of the actual time regardless of which server sent the mail. We are in EST. All emails being sent using localhost and Postfix outside of WebDNA indicate the correct time. I think this could rule out the problem being a server issue. I'm with Tom, I hope there is a way to easily fix this without needing to do some hack workaround everywhere I am using [sendmail]. Going back and putting a band-aid on every [senmail] would be a lot of work as I use [sendmail] in many places. 1/2 the year the time is correct, the other 1/2 of the year it is wrong
during daylight savings time.

I've only been able to solve it by changing the clock on the server, but
then all my log files are messed up.

It only happens on one of my servers even though all my servers have the
same OS and patch levels, just different hardware.

Ken, makes no difference.  I wrote a file directly to the EMailFolder where
the date header was specified.  But an additional (incorrect) date header
was added and this is what gets interpreted by the receiving email client:

Date: Fri, 16 Jul 2010 16:42:54 -0000
Date: Fri, 16 Jul 2010 16:40:00 +0100 (BST)
Looks like a problem that's impossible to solve then, unless you bypass webdna's mail sending system and write the file to the folder on your computer that your mail server uses for its drop box.  I used to do this with communigate on a mac a decade or so ago.  What server do you use?  If you're on Linux it's probably got sendmail or postfix already installed.

Sincerely,
Kenneth Grome
