texte = Yes that's the book I was talking about, I'm glad you were able to find it! Too bad you didn't know about it 5 years ago when you inherited your website or you'd be an expert by now ... :) There's plenty of critically important information in that reference for anyone just starting out with WebDNA, and it takes a while to absorb it all, so ... If you're serious about honing your WebDNA skills I suggest reading some of that book daily, then re-read the parts that do not "click" the first time you read them. Almost a decade ago I trained a couple hundred college students in the basics of WebDNA by using this book as their bible. A few of them got very good with WebDNA very fast, but most took a while before they had the "aha" moments that better programmers seem to have so early in the game. Just stick with it and you'll begin to understand WHY the WebDNA code you see in your website is written the way it is. Then when you get to the point that you know a better way to write WebDNA code than what you're seeing in your site, you'll be well on the way to improving and optimizing that code. Good luck! :) Sincerely, Kenneth Grome > Perhaps this is the one? > > ftp://ftp.smithmicro.com/webdna/WebDNAProgrammerGuide.pdf > > It is 251 pages, ill read it and see if it helps me in > anyway to get things working. > > > On Mon, 11 Jul 2011 06:27:55 -0500, Kenneth Grome > > > wrote: > >> If someone has something I could read to get > >> more up to speed on general workings of > >> webdna, I would be very much interested > > > > When I ran my WebDNA Training Center I printed and gave > > out copies of a PDF to my trainees.
