Yes of course, but there's a problem here ... The single master will NOT be the db that's updated when a visitor updates a record on one of the nodes -- because only the db on that node will be updated. So your WebDNA code must replicate that node update to the master that's outside the node pool. Then the master server must replicate the same update to all the nodes inside the pool.
