texte = In my case, it was a Java Update that somehow screwed my WebDNA. What I didwas to uninstall Java and re-install a fresh copy with restart. That did thetrick and WebDNA resumed ops as if nothing happened.Realizing this, I made sure that on operational servers ....to minimize therisk of such updates from taking place ....firstly, I turned off allauto-update and selected options where I was prompted and had to manuallyactivated the installation. Next, I made sure that only essential softwareran on the server ....no Java if I didn't need it ...no Quicktime ,,,,justWin2003 IIS ....hence, never had an issue on operational servers. Finally, run updates on back-up machines first before doing so on operationalmachines. For development machines, it would be difficult to keep it clean ofauto-updating software since it is more than just a server ...ones demo andwork machine for example. Hence the need to really keep track of what newupdates took place and proper RESTORE points. So far, over the many years....MS stuff have not choked WebDNA be it server related or MS Office appsrunning on the same box. Had the error you mentioned on a Quicktime updatemany years back and very recently, a Java Update. In your case, it could besome other software update or app you installed recently. How did I discovermy issues and solved it .....Trial and Error working backwards. There is nodefinitive solution.Hope that helps.Cheers TDn-----Original Message-----From: Arturo Vargas [mailto:artv@cssimpact.com] Sent: Wednesday, June 13, 2012 06:42To: talk@webdna.usSubject: [BULK] RE: [WebDNA] RE: Error.
