texte = Hi Grant and everyone else, last night Curt and I finally got past the troublesome formula which would work in a .tmpl but not in the formula.db :-)We didn't keep a complete trace of all the versions we tried, but it seems as if the last formula in the database, just above the one we were trying to get to work, somehow clobbered it. IOW, it wasn't the formula we were working on that had a problem, but the prior one in the database.I suspect that some control character (an extra tab or something like that) after the prior formula was to blame. We found the problem when Curt out of desperation replaced the whole gory formula with a number and it still didn't work. I asked him (over InterNet Phone) if it was safe for me to do an edit from my end, to make sure we weren't both editing the same file at the same time since we're using SiteEdit for all of this. He gave me the goahead and I just cut the entry from the end of the database and put it at the head. It worked !Once it worked with just the plain number, we (Curt) put the formula back in and after a few missteps we had it all in working order.I should mention that the formula which apparently had the hidden, extraneous control character, worked and still works fine, so it gave no hint that it was the cause of our agony.Boy do we feel a lot better, now we can proceed :-) -Sven_____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
