After 15+ years on windows I have moved to Ubuntu and am pretty happy = with the change, there are a lot of things that I am doing now that I = wouldn't attempt on Windows. Consider using Webmin to administer your = server while you get used to the command line. Moving away from hosting providers to VPC has also been a good move. With Donovan's hint of new releases of WebDNA, keep an eye out for = releases of a Windows version ......... keep looking .......... then = move to Linux. v7 vs v6.x - If you are using the globals and sandbox features on your = Windows setup stick with the v6.x linux version The 6.x linux installer for Ubuntu is flawless, it certainly made my = move to Linux easy.
