Grant has a similar one in the customer pages section where he uses the URL instead. countertotal is the hits per page. counterdate is the last hit date in mm/dd/yy format and counter sort date is the reverse YYYY/mm/dd for some special sorting and reporting we do. Now this data is hidden from the client as I don't want my competitors to know which pages get the most action and which ones don't. We have the above snip-it on bottom of everypage we count and we have many common pages like online spec sheets for a given product range where there are about 140 different part numbers. So we have 140 pages with the same counter name. But early next week those 140 pages hit the trash as they will all be served out of a webcat db into one commom template. Now Grants use of the url over my given names starts to make more and more sense to us. One url will replace 140 old hard coded html docs that changed weekly :) Major League Big Time Cool and makes my life so much easier (Gawd I love this stuff)Do you want to show the current date and display the page counter to the client?=============================================== Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com =============================================== Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
