RE: Answer: WebDelivery downloads alias, not original ?
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 1997
It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 11249
interpreted = N
texte = Hi Marc,Referring to the AutoBinHex download plugin apparently trying to stuff an alias ending in .hqx rather than the original file being pointed to by the alias:>Which version of the Auto BinHex plug-in are you using? You shouldn't have>this problem with the latest, 2.0.2 version, available at>
.I just checked and I am running 2.0.2 of the plugin. The symptom I got that made me attempt disabling the plugin was that the download would start and then immediately terminate with a message to the effect that the file contained no data. I'm paraphrasing, but it isn't too far off. As soon as I disabled the plugin the download worked fine.I am running with the page in question being served up by WebCat, but I have no idea if that is a factor (preprocessing ? page caching in WebCat ?).Let me know if there is something else I should test and I'll be happy to do it (just be aware that this is our running storefront machine, so I may not be able to instantly turn around with an answer).Thanks,-Sven_____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
