I tried Debian once but itwas more difficult to configure and manage than Ubuntu. In my opinion Ubuntu/Apache is the best solution, especially wheninstalling Webmin for server management, which I do on all myservers. The command line still rules for certain tasks, but foreverything else Webmin makes life much easier, especially whenyou're not employed full-time as a server admin. You ordered a huge amount of resources for something you describedas needing 1/10th of that amount in your first post. It lookslike you're into some serious overkill. I hope the network you'reon is half as good as the server you ordered ... :)Regards,Kenneth GromeWebDNA Solutionshttp://www.webdnasolutions.comWeb Database Systems and Linux Server AdministrationOn 09/22/2016 02:25 AM, dale wrote:> Thanks Chris,> > The VPS I ordered has 6GB ram with 6 cores.
