Not sure if it munched our data again like it did yesterday >but will let you know.I looked at Karl's data, and the most probable explanation is that some of his databases had a mixture of tab-delimited and Merge-format text in them. There is a bug in FC3 and all previous versions of WebCatalog that causes it to create this mixture in the following sequence:1) You pre-build a merge-format database 2) WebCatalog is told to $Append (or [Append]) to the database ONLY (no $Replace or $Delete ever) 3) WebCatalog quits, having appended tab-delim text, but not overwriting merge-format beginnings of file 4) WebCatalog reloads database, which is now a weird mixtureIn this case, I can see WebCatalog not reading the database properly. The fix (in the next release) is to always rewrite the database as tab-delimited if we sense merge-format.The fix for Karl's site was to manually convert all databases to tab-delimited.Grant Hulbert, V.P.
