Problem 2: Prefs file...

texte = There seems to be an odd problem where as when/if my server crashes (quadra 840av) upon restart, the prefs file reverts to empty and I am asked to re-enter the serial number etc.I have reentered the number, quit webcatalog, restarted the machine and all is well. but, if the system crashes, and I restart the machine, the pref file is lost. has anyone else had this problem?
