texte = Hi all,Well, I'm still trying to figure out how to test in the database for whether an item is on sale and then return the appropriate price to the shopping cart.I have no problem looking up an item by its SKU and then getting its sale price as in the formula below. and in fact I use it to do a search and display the items that are on sale for the week.[lookup db=MusicBeach.db&lookInField=SKU&value=[SKU]&returnField=saleprice]I thought from something I read or Grant said or voices in my head in a dream suggested that the act of adding something to the cart triggered the lookup in the price part of the Formulas.db database, so I put the following formula in thereprice [lookup db=MusicBeach.db&lookInField=sku&value=[sku]&returnfield=salepriceThinking that because I was adding to the cart with the URL link on the results page, I would look up the price for just the sku on the saleResults page and it would put that special price into the shopping cart line item. But it puts the regular price in there instead.What i want to do is put things from the ON SALE page into the shopping cart with the sale price and things from the NOT ON SALE page to put things into the shopping cart with the regular price. Is that too much to ask? Am I just a crazy dreamer? Is there a solution to my problem? Are all the hours of looking at [ and ] finally taking their toll? Will anyone care in 1000 years. Is the meaning of life really a hamburger?This inquiring mind wants to know . . . is seems to be wandering a bit.Better call it a night.
