Applescript, WebDNA, and PDF

texte = I want to develop a scripting solution with the following goal:When someone decides to purchase a given PDF document from our archives, I want to use Applescript and WebDNA to insert a field at the bottom of the PDF document saying Registered to [Name], Account #[cart]. I then want it to save the file with a password that the customer has entered in a form so that they will not be able to modify the file and will need that password to open it with Acrobat Reader.Ok., I've created a solution that combines Applescript and OneClick macros to do this. My problem is that I'm afraid that when my site starts to really get hit I might have two or more Applescripts executing simultaneously, and that would surely crash the process. This is especially true of the OneClick macro. How can I use WebDNA to make sure that the page with the AppleScript is not accessed by more than one customer at once. Can I somehow have a Please wait while your purchase is queued page, or something like that so that I can avoid a potentially very bad crash and make sure that the Applescript and macros execute smoothly? Then, when customer x's files have been created, customer y could continue on to the page which creates their files. Is it possible using just AppleScript and WebDNA? I hope I've explained what I want to do sufficiently. I've got a headache from trying to figure this out, so I may not be thinking clearly. . .Thanks,Michael Bohan
