texte = This came out of a conversation on the firesite list and a vote for the clearway staff as the best at customer service anywhere. But any vendor can win the award. And the rub is the ballots are collected in Filemaker (booooo). So you webcats and webkitties scamper on over there and vote for your favorite company who provides customer support above and beyond the call of duty. Hmm a old mac keyboard hanging in the Pacific-Coast Lobby would look just grand. :)Date: 30 Oct 1997 23:40:47 From: Randy English Subject: [ANN] THE 1st ANNUAL (?) BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARDSHi all,A few days ago a few folks on a few of the lists above posted the idea of a best customer service award rated by Macintosh WEBMASTERS... that being us folks...we thought it would be a kick so I hosted and designed the site, and Luke over at http://www.pictographics.com is supplying the TROPHY -- An old MacPlus Keyboard that I will happily donate as the Trophy and a detailed brass plate (complete with adhesive backing!) announcing the name of the award and the first winner as well.the orginal posting went something like this:I offer the following simple rules for a new contest:THE FIRST ANNUAL BCA* AWARD to be awarded to the company or individual offering the best customer service/support to the WebStar community.Votes may be cast for any company or individual making software products for WebStar (including Starnine itself).*Best Care AnywhereWell, there is now a site to tally your votes...voting lasts until the last day of the year...60 days from today!the URL is http://www.vision-media.com/awards/ And may the best company win!=============================================== Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com =============================================== Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
