texte = Hi,I installed the 2.01 upgrade for webcatalog yesterday and I ran into acouple problems.First, I have a stand alone progam that I use to append product specsinto a database. These specs include HTML tags for things like bulletsand font color and if you did a hard return while entering specs, theresult would come back as a
. To have these tags interpreted I hadto enclose the content of the fields in the database with the[convertchars] tag (ie.. [convertchars][anyField][/convertchars]...) onthe search results template. In 2.0 this worked fine but after I upgraded to 2.01 it is was like the[convertchars] tag had been changed to the [raw] tag. Search resultswere showing up with uninterpreted HTML tags. Also, the source showedthese tags as escape codes. So I removed the [convertchars] tag and theHTML code is working fine but now hard returns are not interpreted as a
. Now I have these long run on paragraphs. Take a look the specsfor any product on my site http://www.club-mac.com you'll see what Imean. If you don't see any specs at all its because I've already ruinedmy latest specs database trying to fix it with various programs andtweaking. ER! I've got specs for about 2000 products so I'm not really excited aboutmanualy editing this db. Anyone know what's up with this or does any oneknow of a program that would allow me to edit this db easily. Excelwould be cool if I could get it to find a hard return then replace itwith
and saving it as a tab delimited db but it can't find a hardreturn in a document like Word can. Correct? Also, my counter.db in my MasterCounter folder is not being found and Ihaven't move it or changed the path. Why?One last thing - anybody else using Site Edit on an NT machine? Doesn'tit suck? Site Edit works 100% better on a Mac Server but I guess that'sfor a different tech support group! Help!Brant Wilcox-Web DevelopmentClubMac, ClubPC, ClubPDAhttp://www.pacbus.com/
