texte = The ShowNext code that Ken passed to me works fine except when it passes a varible called plansvar only the first word of the variable is being passed from the ShowNext to the results.tmpl.Here's the scenario: I'm doing an embedded search for health plans by matching a complete text string (ws-style) so that the database can tell the difference between Aetna PPO & Aetna HMO. I put a [formvariable] context on my results page so that I can watch the passed value of [plansvar]. After selecting Aetna PPO from my search.tmpl and passing the varibles to the results.tmpl via a post, the [plansvar] is correctly passed as Aetna PPO. However after clicking on the ShowNext link the varible is recieved by the results page as Aetna (losing the space and PPO). The URL from the Shownext link is displayed in the browser as Aetna PPO (with spaces included). Can you pass a varible string that contains spaces through via a hyperlink? It appears that the value of the varible is being truncated at the first space. If so is there a workaround? I've tried to create my ShowNexts using a post operation but have been unable to get them to work.========My Code=============== [search db=bigtest.db&max=[AT]&wsplansdatarq=[plansvar]&neLast_namedata=[blank]&woSpecia ltydatarq=[Spvar]&asLast_namesort=1&startAt=[SA]][founditems] blah blah [/founditems][shownext position=begin&max=1] Previous G roup [/showNext][ShowNext position=end&max=1] Next Matching Group [/showNext] [/search]=====End======= TIA -marty Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
