Both functioned before I upgraded their WebCatalog.acgi to 2.0.1. Now when we try to place an order we are getting the error messageError: the 'purchase' command requires that you specify a cartThe order is not going through and showing up in the orders file. You can try it yourself athttp://secure.clubnet.net/WebCatalog/Sonnet/Entry.tmplor at my new siteHttp://www.rosearbour.com (Select the online store option from there.)I have taken MusicBeach.com down for a complete overhaul, but it should be back up by tomorrow night. It was having the same problem. The problem only happens when I go tho the secure server with the purchase command. The set up is as follows:Power Macintosh 9500/132 with 98 MB of RAM running System 7.6Software/Version Memory Allocation ============================================================ WebSTAR SSL & WebSTAR Suite v. 2.0 4000K WebSTAR &WebSTAR Suite v. 2.0 4000K Emailer 1.0b4 1000K NetPresenz 4.0.1 1057K WebCatalog 1.6.1 3200K | WebMerchant 1.6 1500K | We're trying to get them to upgrade Eudora Light 1.5.3 1500K |SonnetWebCatalog.acgi (in WC folder) 2360KcommSTRUCT.acgi (in WC/RA folder 2360K i.e one folder deeper for purposes of separate prefs.Sonnet was getting significant business from their site and are VERY concerned. You can email me at jnn@clubnet,net or nielsen1@apple.com You can call me at (626)351-0201Thanks for you help!! PREVIOUS MESSAGE TO THE LIST ET AL =========================================================================== ================== Help! I am getting the following error when I try to submeit an order to a WebSTAR SSL server.Error: the 'purchase' command requires that you specify a cartIf I submit the order via the regular WebSTAR server everything works just fine. The Thankyou template is returned, the ThankYou.txt and Fulfillment.txt files generate the required emails in the email folder, etc. For that scenario, the form action is simply
(The suffix I have mapped is .ctmp instead of .tmpl, and my CGI is in the RA folder not the WebCatalog folder, i. e. one folder deeper than usual. There are reasons my ISP requires this.)However, if I change the form action to which is the full URL to the template or even which is the relative path to the template, I get the error message.I have douible checked that the action defined for the WebSTAR SSL server is the same as that for the regular WebSTAR server. They are both in the same folder.Has this happened to anyone else? Are there any insights you can offer based on what I have included here. Any help would be appreciated. This problem just surfaced for the first time today.Jerry Nielsen Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
