For some reason (perhaps just showing off) IIS defaults to 100,000 simultaneous ip connections in its preferences. I doubt you could get anywhere near that for real.>- Scalability. Does the NT version take advantage of multiple processors?Yes, this happens automatically under NT, and a dual 200 will probably feel peppier than a single 300, just because many processes are offloaded to the other CPU. IIS seems to spread threads across both CPUs quite nicely.>- Anything else I should know, but don't.Make sure you step away from using $Search and switch to the cross-platform equivalent of command=Search. The meaning of / in [include /xx] is slightly different on PC as well. Your SSL certificates will have to be re-issued if you switch servers.Technical Support | ==== eCommerce and Beyond ==== Pacific Coast Software | WebCatalog, WebMerchant, 11770 Bernardo Plaza Court | SiteEdit Pro, PhotoMaster, San Diego, CA 92128 | Typhoon 619/675-1106 Fax: 619/675-0372 | http://www.smithmicro.com/ Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
