texte = hmmm mail bouced back because the subject waswho is doing subscriptions..lets see if this gets thru :)I have a client that has requested that I design a subscription typeservice via webcat. Person comes to site, signs up and pays their dues. After credit card clearance. Admin of site via browser adds user name andpassword to some database. At the end of every month they check whosesubscriptions have expired and they are removed. It would be simple to let them add and subtract from the user.db and usethe [protect] tag. I know this topic was covered here awhile back and Ieither need a better search word to go over the archives. Or couldsomebody point me to a thier site that is doing this. And or the conceptto do this, and the pitfalls of using the the user.db. Or is there anothersimple way around this? I thought of using two different db's. One thatcontrols the expiration date and the standard user.db. And via a templatewrite to or delete to and from both databases at once. They would not haveaccess to webcat admin templates. I have worked with this person forawhile and have trust that will not go where they no they should not.comments?===============================================Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com==============================================================================================Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com===============================================
