Hi james,Use an HTML editor to create your pages, then put your WebDNA tags in those pages manually, then *never* open those files in your page editor again. That's because many page editors destroy WebDNA tags since they don't understand them. Some editors, however do not suffer from this problem, but I don't recall which ones since I never use page editors anyways ... someone else will hopefully comment about this on the list shortly ... but it's always a good idea to re-check your WebDNA code manually after modifying any page with a page editor, just in case ... :)To duplicate the GeneralStore folder, do exactly what you suggested -- duplicate the entire folder and rename each folder whatever you want.I'm not sure I understand your question about references in the source to the folder? For the best reference information, you should first read the PDF docs very thoroughly, at least twice. Then when you're comfortable with all the concepts the PDF explains about WebCatalog and the WebDNA language, open the HTML docs on your computer and leave them open the entire time you're writing your WebDNA code. The HTML docs are still the best source of examples and documentation for WebCatalog, even though there are bits and pieces of important information missing from them in some places. Don't worry about these areas for now, but if something doesn't seem to work as explained in the HTML docs, feel free to post a message to the talk list to get some online support and/or to report the discrepency between *reality* and the documentation ... :)Sincerely, Ken Grome 808-737-6499 WebDNA Solutions mailto:ken@webdna.net http://www.webdna.net Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
