What am I doing>wrong? This is the problem with WebSTAR in that it doesn't re-use the same pluginfor both. So essentially you're running two copies of WebCatalog, and thesecond copy is asking for a serial# different from the first copy. Send amessage to sales@smithmicro.com to figure out a solution to this (whichmay be just to switch to WebTen, which uses plugins for both sides, and isfaster overall).>I have both W* and W*SSL in the SAME folder, will this work or do I need>to split them apart? This is the correct layout.>By the way, what is the speed difference between the plugin and the CGI?>I used to use Tango Enterprise, and the difference was huge...Certainly WebCatalog.acgi is hugely faster than Tango Enterprise, by afactor of 10-100 :)As for the difference between the plugin and CGI, it depends on how complexyour WebDNA pages are. For really simple pages with little or no WebDNA,the plugin will be faster. For more complex pages, the difference becomeslost in the 'noise'. The most difference I have seen is a factor of 6 vs10.Technical Support | ==== eCommerce and Beyond ====Pacific Coast Software | WebCatalog, WebMerchant,11770 Bernardo Plaza Court | SiteEdit Pro, PhotoMaster,San Diego, CA 92128 | Typhoon619/675-1106 Fax: 619/675-0372 | http://www.smithmicro.com/
