texte = Is there anyone out there who has fool-proof forms?I.e. can you type in ampersands, quotation marks, <, >, [, ], foreign characters, non 7-bit ASCII, etc. and always expect your forms to pass the contents perfectly? There are 3 cases that I can think of where variable are handled slightly differently:1) Page to page passing of variables: a) the first time a form is completed via HTML/HTTP b) using WebDNA to pass variables through subsuquent pages or 2) Recording varialbes in a database (i.e with APPEND or REPLACE) [append db=mydata.db]FirstName=[var1][/append] or [append db=mydata.db]FirstName=[url][var1][/url][/append] 3) Emailing variables (i.e. with SENDMAIL) I noticed there is an [unURL] context in the amazing new 3.0 beta. Maybe this, along with a carefully constructed CONVERSIONS.DB, is part of the total solution for fool-proof forms.Oh great masters, share your secrets...Steve----------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Rosenbaum Pop Art L.L.C. http://pop-art.com steve@pop-art.com Networks / Databases / Multimedia7000 SW Hampton St., Suite 124, tel: (503) 968.5957 Tigard, OR 97223-8361 fax: (503) 620.8487 Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
