virtual virtual hosted store....

texte = I have one store that is accessible through several domain names. It is easy to set it up to be accessible by having one IP address for all the domain names. But now I'd like to have cookies work for the other domain names but don't really want to duplicate all the store files and databases. The server will be using WebStar 3.0 (for now, WebTen is pretty tempting once Thwate certificate expiration mess is over).Cookies require the name of the URL to match the name of the computer. They seem to work fine when I set up a virtual host in WebStar, which is basically a separate folder in the WebStar root folder. My question is how to set the path of all the databases and HTML to the other store folder, which is really part of another domain. I tried making an alias of the store folder to put inside the new domain folder, but that didn't fool webcat (or it did fool WebCat).I realize that is counter intuitive to what most people want. But how do I set the paths of the databases (in particular) so there's only one copy of each database in WebCat's RAM.Any clues?thanksSandy
