If it is, I would be a VERY happy camper, and so would my client! Here is the logic -- I have a field in the catalog file for unitShipping, and it can contain 4 values which do different things for shipping. The first 2 are easy - not sure how to get the last 2 to work and to work all 4 together -- --IF unitShipping > 0 , thats it - shipping for that item. unitShipping = -9998 , free shipping! $0. unitShipping = -9999 , SPECIAL SHIPPING - on order, no total shipping amount will show or be used to calculate total if an item has special shipping - just the word special! unitShipping = 0 , use a table that says if subTotal OF ITEMS WITH 0 unitShipping is < 50, shipping is $5.95. If subTotal OF ITEMS WITH 0 unitShipping is <= 201, shipping is $7.95. If subtotal OF ITEMS WITH 0 unitShipping is > 201, free shipping.--Now, the only additional note, is these can all be used together, you could have an item added that has a unitShip of $20, so totalshipping is $20 so far. Then, an item is added that is -9998, no shipping, but totalshipping is still $20 for the order. Then, 3 items are added that are 0 for unitShip, and the price subtotal for those 3 items is $100, so at checkout time, $7.95 should be added to total shipping. If there are even more 0 ship items added, and the total came to $225 for subtotal of price, the totalshipping for the order would be $0.Finally if a -9999 item is added, totalshipping should be 0, and the word SPECIAL will appear for shipping meaning they will be contacted with the actual shipping and total for the order.Thats it - I very much appriciate anyone who can give me any sample code, help, ideas, etc.THANK YOU!!Scott Szretter Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
