Why do extra quotation marks sometimes appear in my databases?

texte = List members,Does anyone have a clue as to why extra quotation marks sometimes appear in my databases?Sometimes, if a field has quotation marks in it, all of the quotation marks become double quotation marks and the entire field gets wrapped in a set of single quotation marks.This has happened to me under the following two circumstances in the past day relating to 2 different sites,1) When saving and then reopenning a tab-delimited file in MS Excel for Win 98. 2) When submitting modifications to a database via a WebDna-based template.
