Dear Robert,
I agree and I think this sounds like a great idea!!!I too want to learn this stuff!
I just have no more money now. : (
The every other month brainstorming sessions indifferent parts of country sound wonderful too. And like you I can't affordto travel. : (
Ah well. As long as I can keep muddling thru withhelp of list until I get my sites up I'm happy.
I hope these great ideas work out and maybe I canparticipate later when I have more moolah!
Just don't cut off list help for us WebCat challengedfolks in the here and now.
I think some nice solutions arose from your posting.Hope I didn't sound like a wet blanket before.
Healthy positive debate is a good thing!
And manuel needs to be rewritten or softwareneeds to be sold as tool for techies (no offense meant techies - oh greatones that have forged ahead and created the path : D). Not a chop! Justwhat is.
It must be hard for folks at Pacific Coast's levelof expertise to realize just how far down on the old learning curve thebuyers of their product are going to be. : D
The ideas sent in for a revised manuel sound reallygood! I hope they get utilized!
And encouraging Pacific Coast to redo manuel willmake them more money in the long run because people like me won't lookat the manuel, realize how far out of their league everything is, panic, and send it all back!
Great product combined with easily understood andcomprehensive manuel (which would still require effort and learning fromthe motivated customer) = wider selling market = more money!!!! And moremoney is never a bad thing.
And I too am willing to volunteer to helpwith manuel!!! Ah! How on earth could I help? I could be a tester forwhether or not its easily understood! If I could understand it thenthey could have it printed with confidence knowing anyone couldunderstand it!! ; )
Unfortunately I'm still in limbo land waiting tosee if WebTen will function with the one machine method I need to use forWebCat development. If I can't get this stuff out of the box and happeninghere pretty fast I'm going to go nuts!!! : (
I know this product is going to be terrific forwhat I'm doing if I can just get the chance to do it!
