texte = I have been running WebStar and WebStar SSL in separate directories on the same server with the same license of WebCatalog running in each. Plugin versions.I keep getting memory errors if I try to use any but 2.0 plugin with the SSL server - very frustrated. Am using 2.1.3 in the regular Webstar server. (I am getting ready to test v3).I have uneasiness about relying on WebStar SSL (v2.1). Have not been able to upgrade to v3 Webstar beecause I get the same memory errors as using 2.1.3 versions of the Plugin. I do not want to reprogram to the ACGI.So it appears I am stuck with SSL 2.1, WebCat2.0 on that side for the time being.I want to build the cart in Webstar, and pass only the credit card part to SSL, then get back to WebStar to do invoicing, etc. My plan is to move WebStar SSL onto the same root level as Webstar and run them out of the same folder. Plug in folders are separate, but the Webcatalog directory and therfore the preferences file would be shared in this case. The Admin directory for 2.1 versions is different that the 2.0 version, and tried to encrypt the users database - I believe an issue with 2.0 plugin. If I could keep WebStarSSL and WebCat working correctly together, this would not be a problem, I think. But having to use 2.0 plug-in makes me nervous. Question: can 2.0 and 2.1.3 share the same Webcatalog folder, and therefore preferences file? Even though v2 admin and v2.1.3 admin are different, I can set the preferences from the later version, and it shouldbe available to both the same. Are there other issues doing this will cause? I have production work going in both and cannot test except on live sites. What other configurations have any of you used other than separate folders at the same level? Putting SSL wholly inside of Webstar folder will make the ShoppingCart and Orders folders available from plain Webstar - which is ultimately what I am after. Ideas on how others are doing this, pros and cons, would assist. Thanks for the help. ======================================================================== Hewitt Consulting...
