Try to use the [Replace] tag.>> Example: [replace db=yourdatabase.db&eqFIELDNAMEdatarq=Funboard]FIELDNAME=1> [/replace] The replace tag will only work for you if you want to change the wholefield value. Currently there is no way to replace strings of type withinfields with WebCat. This has been a much debated need/desire. I believeKen's requests for it goes back years ;-( The concept of finding words like vulgar within a field and replacingit with BAD WORD is simply not possible. Of course you may also find aneed to do this if you want certain words/phrases to be dynamically linkedup to other database searches... products for example. If you are doing a discussion forum and have the need to replace outvulgarities or dynamically link to database calls (on certain text within afield), NetCloak Pro by Maxum does this very thing. It's called AutoLink andwill substitute from a list of words or phrases with a replacement stringincluding any html (database calls). Each forum can have it's own AutoLinklist, and different lists could even be used depending on who is posting. To date I have not heard if this feature, such as expanding theconvertchars to accept strings, will be provided into WebCat.Hope this helps--Alexander J.
