However, being the what's going on right now kind of guy that I am, I some times want to be able to see how the numbers change throughout the day.Futher, I only gave you one specific real-world example. From an abstract point of view I suppose that there are applications and databases where constantly searching in this manner would cripple the system.I think I'll pass this along as a feature request to the powers that be: Please have another variable available within a founditems context when performing a search with a summary. The variable might be called [summarynumfound] and it's value would be the number of items within that unique summarized field. Example of database containing ZIP codes: 11215 11215 10014 11215 10014 Example of a search: [search db=zips.db&neZIPdata=all&ZIPsort=1&ZIPsdir=as&ZIPsumm=T] [numfound] records in the database.
[founditems] [summarynumfound] are in the [ZIP] ZIP code
[/founditesm] [/search] Results: 5 records in the database. 2 are in the 10014 ZIP code 3 are in the 11215 ZIP codeWhat do you think?___Joe___ _________________________________________________ Joseph D'Andrea JoeDan@West21.com WEST21.com Internet services for the 21st Century http://www.west21.com/ _________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
