texte = Subject: Time: 12:18 AM WebCat (or other) Indexing 12/17/99 Date: Can somebody tell me if it is possible to have WebCat index text like Sherlock can?I know it is quite easy to have search run through large chunks of words but what about hundreds of thousands of records that might have 150 to 200 words per record? I'm curious if anybody has worked with databases that truly do index every word. I'm pretty sure Webcat isn't capable of this but I could be wrong. Anybody? Can Phantom index words? Also, has anybody ever taken a Photoshop JPEG and extracted the IPTC caption information from the Resource Fork and appended it to a database? I'm trying to figure out a way to strip all the caption info off the photos and append it with an identifer that links the photo and the caption. I'm almost positive that Webcat cannot see or read the caption of a Photoshop JPEG.Any feedback is appreciated.Sincerely,Patrick O'Brien Systems Admin Sandusky Register Sandusky, OH 419-625-5500 http://www.sanduskyregister.com------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
