texte = If you're business is growing you may want to use something like QuickBooks to do your accounting/financials anyway - regardless of whether you use it for your transaction processing.Points to consider: -Building full-blown accting functions with WebCat can certainly be done (ala da Moose) but may not be cost-beneficial (your needs and mileage may vary) - Invoicing out of WebCat can be easily accomplished - WebCat can easily write a transaction file which can be imported into QuickBooks via an IIF file - You can either send QB individual transactions or a bulk tranaction depending on your wants/needs - Having your transaction data resident in WebCat makes it available for viewing via (if desired - we think its pretty cool for clients to be able to see the state of their account via the web) - Having your accounting done in a *real* accounting program gives you a wealth of options and information by which you may better run your business - without you having to recreate all its functionality within WebCat.So, think hard about all your present and future needs prior to plotting your strategy. If your needs are simple I wouldn't hesitate to build it all in WebCat. However if you want the features and power of a complete accounting system (and if you are growing, sooner or later you will) you may wish to consider the hybrid option of using both WebCat and QuickBooks.
