Our test of MGI are steering usaway from any further development with Webcatalog in both e-commerce andnon-e-commerce fashions... only thing we are waiting for is Steve to releasea beta of MGI 2.0 running under Linux/Apache and we will be well on our way.The combination of individual hosting clients seclusion from each other, and the quickness at which even non-technical people have picked up MGI tagusage, except for very large e-commerce sites I could not see needingWebcatalog, and even that part may fall through... I have heard that MGI2.0 will have built-in commands to sync multiple servers (could be wrong, could be that you can have multiple MGI systems pointing/accessing multipledatabase servers all integrated into a single product i.e.: MGI not sureyet) In any fashion, other companies are rapidly expanding e-commerceefforts, and SM seems more interested in making this a privatehosting/development venture nowadays ...Just my 2 cents to boot.Janet Lane-------------------------------------------------------------Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server. To end your Mail problems go to
