texte = I've found a problem with cart numbers being duplicated in Netscape on a Mac. I can consistantly reproduce the problem with Netscape, but I can't get it to appear at all with Explorer.I tested this in both the unmodified TeaRoom example as well as in my own files that are modified TeaRoom files. The results are the same. Here are the steps that reveal the problem: 1- Place an item in the Shopping Cart. A new cart number is created and the cart file appears in the ShoppingCarts folder. 2- Complete the transaction. The cart file is removed from the ShoppingCarts folder and the cart file appears in the Completed Orders folder as well as in the Administer Orders section of WebMerchat Administration. 3- Return to the home page (Entry.tpl) and resume shopping. 4- Place an item in the Shoping Cart. The cart number from the previous shopping cart is duplicated in the URL and a cart with that same number appears in the Shopping Carts folder. 5- View Shopping Cart or proceeding through the checkout process will both cause WebCatalog to display Error: this shoping cart has already been submitted and is pending approval. 6- No orders are shown in WebMerchant's Pending folder. 7- The duplicate Shopping Cart files remain in the Shopping Cart folder. If I empty Netscape's disk cache, I can then begin a new shoping trip with a new cart number, but the problem reappears immediately after completing one order. The duplicate Shopping Cart files are never removed from the Shopping Cart folder. Can anyone suggest a solution or workaround? I thought about using the [newcart] command on the Entry.tpl page, but WC's user manual says it's obsolete and is used for backwards compatability only.WebStar 4 WebCatalog 3.0.7 Netscape Navigator 4.08 MSIE 4.01Thanks, Glenn ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
