It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 30279
interpreted = N
texte = OK. What was wrong?Short version... Basically a message got stuck in the send queue.Long version... This list is run from a CommunigatePro mail server. A record in the Queue folder referenced a message ID that did not exist. 1. CPG would look a the outgoing queue record. 2. DNS lookup on domain. 3. Connect to the MX record server for the domain. 4. Start the SMTP conversation 5. Lookup the message body. 6. Fail on the message body and report ABORT to the remote mail server. 7. Go back to step one. Repeat every 6 seconds.Since the mail was not sent the record was not removed from the send queue.What solved the problem? Someone letting us know we had a problem. Looking at the logs. Finding that the problem was a missing message body then removing the record from the send queue.James Howarth ********************************** Smith Micro, Internet Solutions Div | eCommerce (WebCatalog) 16855 West Bernardo Drive | Software & Site Development Suite 380 | San Diego, CA 92127 | 858.675.1106 | http://www.smithmicro.com/isd 858.675.0372 (fax)-----Original Message----- From: Jesse Proudman [mailto:lists@ninewire.com] Sent: Monday, April 10, 2000 4:03 AM To: WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com Subject: Re: Spamming this list!
