texte = Hi!Can anybody tell me how I can get WebCatalog to work on SUSE-Linux 6.3? For the moment I tried (without success) to do it by:- creating a 'fake' /etc/httpd/conf directory with all apache conf files duplicated in it (the SUSE distribution puts all apache config files into /etc/httpd)- installing WebCatalog via rpm -Uvh- moving the directory WebCatalog from /home/httpd/html/ to /usr/local/httpd/htdocs (which is the correct location for the suse distribution)- changing $WEB accordingly in the WebCatalogCtl script- copying the stuff written by the WebCat installation in httpd.conf into the actual httpd.conf (LoadModule webcatalog2_module /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/WebCatalog/ mod_webcatalog2.so)- starting apache- started WebCatalog with WebCatalogCtl start the result of my actions:.tpl's still seem to be served as html now, when I try to launch WebCatalog via the Ctl or directly by calling WebCatalog, I get 'command not found'... even if both files (as, strangely, all files in /WebCatalog/) are executable... a reboot makes them 'usable' again. That is, when I call WebCatalog via the Ctl script, it tells it started it (but it is not true). When I call it directly, the console doesn't show anything anymore, I have to ctl-c to resume it. And afterwards, both commands become 'not found'. I don't understand why this happens.... Do I have to place the script in /sbin/rc.d/ .... so to start WebCatalog before apache starts? can anybody help me? can smithmicro make a distribution-agnostic (configurable) .rpm script? can the world be better?....Thanks to all for Your Attention!
