texte = Ahhh..... I may have entered that snippet of code wrong... it's been a long day. Many of the records on the results page work, maybe only 1 out of ten didn't work. So I'm certain that I had the correct sequence of unurl-ing and decrypt-ing... There must have been something in that one record... What I didn't account for was an & in there... Wait a second... the MemberID is always a number so how could the decrypted value contain anything other then the original? I'll try your suggestion. 2:40 PM -1000 5/4/00, Kenneth Grome wrote:>>Well let's see ... yes, it looks like you've urled the value after>you've encrypted it, which makes sense -- but that only means you>have to remember to unurl it BEFORE you try to decrypt it, not>afterwards.>>And since you're using the decrypted value in a search context, you>had better be sure to url the decrypted value, to be sure it doesn't>have any & characters in it which would screw p your search string.>>Why don't you try this, I think it will work just fine:>>[search..... &eqMEMBERIDdatarq=[url][decrypt>seed=joe][unurl][who][/unurl][/decrypt][/url]]>_________________________________________________Joseph D'Andrea JoeDan@West21.comWEST21.com Internet services for the 21st Century http://www.west21.com/_________________________________________________-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
