Try a proper search that will return all records who's manufacturer field is not blank: [Search db=manufacturer.db&neManufacturerdata=[blank]] In your append, you need to have definite fieldname=value pairs. I think you need something like this: [Append db=manufacturer.db]manufacturer=[manufacturer]&website=[website]&logoaddress =[logoaddress][/Append]Mike> Uh, your search and appends are a little screwy, dontcha think? > -[Search db=manufacturer.db=ALLDATA]- > That's no way to search. > -manufacturer=[manufacturer]=[website]=[logoaddress]- > That's not a proper append string, eh? > > Mike > >> anyone have this problem? >> The [append] tag isn't updating the database. >> The code is as follows: >> >> [Search db=manufacturer.db=ALLDATA] >> Found [NumFound] items
