As I said before I think the new [grep] alone is worth price of upgrade. :-)But I am just a developer and work for a company that runs all the servers. I urged them to install beta4 and let me use it to develop a large project that needs to go mission critical in June/July. I figure it is better to plan for the transition now and simultaneously give me the features to go faster. But conservative thinking has so far won out because no one knows when the potential bugs that may push back the date we can go live will be ironed out...I also have the assumption that most everyone on this list is just so stinkin' busy because they are absolutely maxed out coding solutions with version 3 which is already allowing them to do sooo much of what they want to do quickly and easily. But no doubt everyone will get irresistably drawn in despite the time factor once all the new neat techniques start showing up in peoples' posts.Coding is lots of fun and also often very challenging! I think everyone looks forward to looking under the webcat4 hood with you just as soon as possible ...to enjoy and respect. :-) Thanks for all your hard work!!! We'll catch up soon-JohnKenneth Grome wrote:> >>I'll be glad to resume my testing when the next beta is released. > > > >Does this means that you've already confirmed the dozens of other > >features and are happy with them? > ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
