No, absolutely not.I found another bug just yesterday, one of several I have identified during beta testing -- but they went ahead and released this version anyways, bug and all.I just reconfirmed this bug again, because I wanted to know for a fact that it's still in there (before I posted my message) ... and yes, the bug I found yesterday definitely still exists in this version. There is another unrelated issue with this version that will cause problem, too. SM decided to *radically* change the default variable hierarchy in this version. The result is that nearly all custom-coded webdna sites will fail to work properly after upgrading, without first changing a new preference.Unfortunately, this new preference is not only it undocumented, but it cannot be changed via the admin interface. In fact, they clearly told us on the beta list that they would *not* provide a web-based option to change this preference. It seems like they are trying to keep a secret, I have no idea why ...All I know is that dozens or hundreds of current webcatalog users are going to *need* to know how to change this preference manually before their existing templates will work with this new version. Not only that, but anyone who wants to use the new default variable hierarchy will have to learn some dramatically new webdna coding techniques -- because the 'rules' have been changed. ================================ Kenneth Grome, WebDNA Consultant 808-737-6499 http://webdna.net ================================------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
