I ask this because this is what it does to me when using [shownext]. And, when Previous or NEXT is pressed enough times, it crashes the Web Server. FYI, this happens on NT4/WebSite/WebCat setup. I ended up using one that someone posted here in the Talklist that doesn't even use SHOWNEXT, but Hideifs and Showifs using the POST command. It's a bit lengthy, but it works well.John T -----Original Message----- From: WebCatalog Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com]On Behalf Of John Butler Sent: Thursday, June 22, 2000 11:18 AM To: WebCatalog Talk Subject: Re: [shownext] link disappears after first use. [searchstring] takes care of passing all the [search] parameters as they were the first time the [search] evaluated, but on the next rendering it may not be the same unless you take care that all the formvars come in again with the same values (which they won't if you don't explicitly pass them in the [shownext] link itself - after the the [searchstring].HTH someone someday-John ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
