As this thread was going, we got a duplicated WebCat process for the first time!This might be useful to someone:We have a daily cron job that use to do this: /etc/rc.d/init.d/WebCatalogCtl restart /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpsd restartWe had to do that because WebCat kept crashing every other day.
