numero = 38335
interpreted = N
texte = Paul, I am considered a newbie also. However, without any offense meant, WebCat *is* a programming language that really requires pre requisites IMHO. These prerequisites are knowing about Web Servers and knowing at least a little bit about HTML. I think for a new web site enthusiast that these prerequisites take a good while to learn and then once ready for WebCat, it can take a while also. Now I am not the brightest light on the street but I'm not the dimmest also and I have been at it (website design) for a little over a year and still am not at a comfortable place with WebCat.So, unless your posts are misleading me and you do have experience with servers and HTML I would suggest learning those first and then tackling WebCat.... Hope to see you active in about a year here because WebCat is a cool program that lets you do many things. And, the community could use more developers I think.Paul wrote:> on 9/2/2001 3:48 AM, Kenneth Grome at owner@kengrome.com wrote: > > > Maybe, but not until you explain the problem a whole lot better ... > > What OS? > > What version of webcat? > > What web server? > > Where's your code that doesn't work? > > What are you doing when this error appears? > > Mac OS 9.1 > Don't know version of web cat > Don't know the web server > The error that appears is: Connection failed, invalid destination address > > I just got this program yesterday, so I don't all the servers and webcat yet > > ------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
