And, as I said, the root user is the default postmaster account. You can use the sendmail alias table to send postmaster mail to some other account.However, this brings up another point: the From: address should be a LOCAL address, not an EXTERNAL address. If you have munged Sendmail to accept relay's for external addresses, you have disabled one of the primary anti-Spam features and are running an open relay.
