With Johns solution this code would have to be on the same page of any page that has info in the url. This could be at critical spots (like my found products page) which one wants to be as snappy as possible. for Johns solution would it be better to first check the referer and if the link is comming anywhere else besides your own site then you can be redirected to a page that has johns solution? It seems like this would be less code for the general flow of things to happen. For Glenns solution.... (this might be easy but...) don't forms cause a warning window to come up everytime saying something like you are entering an unsecure etc etc.? wouldn't this be a burden?DGlenn Busbin wrote:> >What I'm trying to circumvent is an problem that occurs when a customer uses the Back button or a Bookmark and resubmits a new order using a previously used Cart ID. > > > > Someone once suggested writing all used cart numbers to a db and checking all new cart numbers against that, but it seems like a lotta trouble for minimal return.
