It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 43294
interpreted = N
texte = Gary -I get 02/07/35 from the date format example (OSX).In your search, the startdatetype and enddatetype parameters are meaningless. The ddatetype parameter applies to both the DB field and the value(s) it's being compared to. Try removing the extra parameters to see if it helps. It looks like WebDNA is not using the ddatetype parameter and is instead doing a text comparison.And I strongly recommend the days since format for dates - it makes all range tests and date math much simpler and faster.- BrianAt 5:15 PM 9/10/02, Gary Krockover wrote: >Ok then, why does this (from the online docs): >[Format Days_To_Date %m/%d/%y]195462[/Format] > >Return this?: >02/27/*+ > >Latest WebDNA, Win2kadvserv. > >Why don't I just go home for the day? >GK > > >| Why does this search: >| [Search db=report.db&eqacctdatarq=[acct]&rnddatedatarq=[startdate] >| >[enddate]&startdatetype=date&enddatetype=date&ddatetype=date&ddatesort=1&dda >| tesdir=de] >| >| startdate: 7/23/2002 >| enddate: 7/30/2002 >| >| Return: >| 7/3/2002 >| 7/26/2002 >| 7/30/2002 >| >| ? >| >| Yes, I've changed the dates in the database from 7/3/2002 to 7/03/2002 and >| it fixes it.
