texte = Dear Authorize.Net Merchant,As part of our continual commitment to optimize the quality of the PaymentGateway and the Merchant Interface, Authorize.Net is proud to announceseveral new upcoming enhancements and features, including a new and improvedgateway connection method. To allow for the implementation of these systemenhancements, there will be a brief period of downtime during the hour of12:00 - 1:00 AM PDT on October 30, 2002.First, we are pleased to announce the release of Simple Integration Method(SIM). SIM combines the increased security and robustness of AdvancedIntegration Method (AIM) (previously known as ADC Direct Response) with theprogramming ease of WebLink and Relay Response. The SIM Implementation Guidewill be available in the Merchant Interface on October 30, 2002. SIM has been developed in part to accommodate for the eventualdiscontinuation of the WebLink and Relay Response connection methods. Formore information about converting to a new connection method, please see theAIM/SIM Conversion Guide athttp://www.authorize.net/files/conversionguide.pdf.As of October 30, 2002, you will see a couple of changes to your MerchantInterface, including:* Two new Survey pages at login. These pages request information that willhelp us provide you with improved account support. You will only need tocomplete these survey pages once.* An improved Settings page. The new Settings page intuitively groups theSettings menu to help you can find specific settings faster. For details about new Merchant Interface features, please see the updatedWhat's New Guide at http://www.authorize.net/files/whatsnew.pdf.As a quick reminder, WebLink and Relay Response merchants were recentlynotified that as of October 21, 2002 the Payment Gateway will no longeraccept payment form requests that include passwords. If you are using theWebLink or Relay Response connection methods please be sure thatPassword-Required Mode is turned OFF at all times.
