That's a lot of people to push away because your website isn't backwards compatible (not your site Alain, generally speaking). The issue of do I build my site to be compatible with older browsers or do I make various versions of my site that are compatible and then route them to it is always going to be an issue. My .02 on this is, a lot of that depends on the market that your site is geared for. I have a client who's market is a crowd that it appears still run with what came on their Win95 or Win98 machine. Many also use (the formerly) WebTV. So I've had to build versions of this particular site to cater to both those groups. Again though, the logs indicate that an abnormally high percentage of their visitors still use NN 4.x and IE 4 and WebTV.If you're selling cutting edge technology on your site, the story would most likely, obviously, be different.
