I particularly like the tutorial example in the reference guide that shows how to develop an XSL script that instead of transforming the source XML into some filtered presentation form, the sample XSL script actually acts as a WebDNA code generator to import the XML data into a WebDNA database. The other cool usage is that you can store different XSL scripts in WebDNA variables, allowing you to create a 'library' of different transformations that you can conditionally apply.Understand that the WebDNA reference guide describes the use of the new WebDNA contexts, but isn't itself a primer on the XSL scripting language in general. For that, the following W3C link does a pretty good job of providing reference resources for XSL, and other related technologies, that can help you learn how to develop XSL scripts:http://www.w3.org/Style/XSL/Phil B.-----Original Message----- From: Gary Krockover [mailto:gary@garykrockover.com] Sent: Friday, March 21, 2003 3:35 PM To: WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com Subject: Re: Webdna 5.0 reference documentationLink to the 5.0 interactive doc's in case anybody missed it:http://webdna.smithmicro.com/ref/index.htmlThrow some of your favorite snippets or catch-all's or gotcha's or whatever up there under the appropriate tag, I need to add to my collection. : )GK-----Original Message----- From: WebDNA Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com]On Behalf Of Phillip Bonesteele Sent: Friday, March 21, 2003 5:18 PM To: WebDNA Talk Subject: Webdna 5.0 reference documentation We have updated webdnadocs.smithmicro.com to contain the new updated reference guide for 5.0.
